Our network of rehab facilities has been so successful because we use a variety of tested and effective methods to treat women struggling with addictions.
Our women’s drug and alcohol treatment rehabs teach women to to enjoy life without participating in addictive behaviors. Underlying issues are addressed by our staff of addiction therapists.
Sober Living by the Seas licensed professionals are available around the clock to provide caring and nurturing assistance for women from the earliest phases of supervised detox through primary and extended care.
When females who are suffering from alcoholism, drug addiction, or eating disorders check in to Sober Living by the Sea, they will receive comprehensive diagnostic analysis and a customized treatment program that will provide them with an ideal launching pad toward recovery.
Women’s Treatment Programs
We welcome women 18 years and older to our facility, as we feel as though our wide variety of programs, treatment modalities and clinical experience can benefit women of all ages. We strive to treat the woman as a whole, meaning we address any and all issues connected to the following:
We understand that women experience both addiction and alcoholism much differently than men, which is why we offer a women’s only treatment program that can help focus on the specific struggles that women can face with these issues. This program can help highlight predisposed risk factors such as psychological disorders and family and social risk factors, all of which differ in women than in men. A more caring and empathetic environment not commonly found in co-ed treatment programs is also created through this program.

Sunrise Recovery Ranch
Sunrise Recovery Ranch is our co-ed facility settled in the inspirational Southern California foothills. Outdoor activities will be integrated into the treatment process daily, and the fresh air is invigorating for the woman who is rebuilding her strength.
Sunrise can provide an initial detox in a safe and comfortable setting. After a 30 day (recommended) stay in the residential treatment program, the woman will be guided into a lower level of care either with us or closer to the home to which she is returning.
Sunrise Recovery’s weekly alumni meeting is a frequent destination for alumni who come to share their post-treatment experience and celebrate milestones (like getting a 90 day chip).
The gender specific groups and activities of the Women’s Program reflect the unique issues that women face while they are first getting sober. Highly trained counselors and group facilitators engage the women through lectures, one-on-one counseling sessions, and 12-Step meetings.
